I was going to start making posts of my favorite performances of the season, so I may as well start with this!I love Cappellini/Lanotte’s latin dancing, and I enjoyed a few short dances this season. But when considering technical, choreography, as well as performance, Nathalie and Fabian’s short dance at Worlds, specifically, is my overall favorite. They had complete command over the audience and the ice, I love the choreography and expression, they had amazing speed and security, and this is the best they had skated this program all season. It doesn’t matter whether they were at home or not, I think this performance was electrifying and a must-see of the season.
